曾在美国斯坦福大学和日本山梨大学做访问学者,在国内外杂志发表论文100余篇,其中SCI收录70余篇。获得陕西省高等学校科技进步奖1项(第1完成人),中国实验动物学会优秀青年人才奖1项,中国实验动物学会科学技术三等奖1项(第1完成人),中国实验动物学会科学技术二等奖2项(第2完成人)。陕西省科技进步二等奖1项(第5完成人)。主持国家自然科学基金2项,陕西省科技项目3项,中央高校基本科研业务费专项资金-青年教师跟踪支持项目(优青培育类)1项,博士后基金2项(其中特别资助1项),西安交通大学基金3项,参与863项目、国家自然科学基金和陕西省重大科技项目多项,担任多个国内外期刊编委。
